Welcome to St. Bernard School !

·    On this Holy Thursday, the beginning of the Triduum - three days observing the Arrest, Passion and Crucifixion of Christ - we wish Peace and Love to all of you that is realized through Christ's Resurrection on Easter Sunday. Spring brings about many changes and our very own SBS will be going through some changes over the summer. Thanks to the Shea Family Charities, SBS will be under-going over a half-million dollar renovation and upgrade, including classrooms, school tech, security upgrades and construction! This amazing gift will benefit not just the school, but the Religious Education/Confirmation and Religious Ministries of the St. Bernard community. While we are grateful for the donation from Shea, we cannot proceed without doing something on our part to take some ownership for these upgrades. Our annual "Jog-a-thon" is on April 20 and the students/families are hard at work raising funds to meet our $30,000 goal, the majority of which will go toward the summer construction. Anyone can help out by donating through the school's PayPal account, found under the GIVING tab at the top of this page. Thank you and Happy Easter to all of you.

·    St. Bernard School is still accepting applications for our 2017 - 2018 Kinder thru 8th Grade classes (Kindergarten students must be 5 years of age by December 1st). A special "First Year " discount enrollment package is available for all current St. Bernard Religious Education families. Pre-K students must be 3 years of age and potty-trained. Financial Aid may be possible thru Children’s Home Society; please call our Office (562.867.9410) to arrange for a tour and information.

God Bless,

Mr. Cordero
Principal

What's New at SBS - Pictures
The SBS "Daddy Daughter Dance" was a wonderful dinner/dance where every little girl is a princess and her "Daddy" or escort is the king. This event celebrates the special role that Dad's play in a young girl's life.
