St. Bernard School is committed to maintaining a quality academic program that provides for the continued spiritual, intellectual, social, physical, psychological and moral growth of all its' students. St. Bernard School follows the guidelines set forth by the State of California and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Teachers follow the state standards and the archdiocesan guidelines in forming a comprehensive curriculum map for each subject, at each grade level.

Students receive grade appropriate instruction in Religion, Math, Language Arts (Reading/Literature, English/Grammar, Writing, Vocabulary, Spelling), Social Studies, Science, Physical Education, Art, Music and Computer/Technology. Various extra-curricular activities help support student learning and achievement as well.
