About the Teacher

Angela Fusillo - Second Grade Teacher

I have dreamt of being a teacher since I was seven years old. That dream became a reality in my late forties. Teaching is a second career for me. This is my ninth blissful year of teaching. I graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Master’s degree in Education. I was accepted into the Teach for America program out of over 40,000 candidates. I relocated to Las Vegas and taught 5th grade for three years. I have taught multiple grades in various educational settings. Teaching Second Grade is my favorite.

I live here in Bellflower with my husband Michael, my dogs Coco and Cannoli and a cat, Fettucine. I have three grown daughters and a beautiful six-year-old grand-daughter.  I love to create awesome things for my class. I am obsessed with dogs, as my room clearly represents. I my free time, you can find me at Goodwill shopping, singing on Smule or playing Seekers Notes, a hidden picture game.
