About the Teacher

Preschool Staff and About St. Bernard Preschool
Welcome to St. Bernard Preschool

Preschool Director/Teacher:Ms. Reyes
I would like to welcome everyone to our website. My name is Jacqueline Reyes, and this will be my 11th year as Director of St. Bernard Preschool. I attended Mount  St. Mary's College where I earned an AA in Early Childhood Education and a BA in Child Development. Before coming to St. Bernard School, I was a Second Grade Teacher for three years and a Kindergarten Teacher for four years. After two years of teaching, I returned to school to earn my Masters in Education at California State University, Long Beach. I then decided that I wanted to work with young children in a preschool setting. I came to St. Bernard Preschool and have truly been blessed. The administration, staff, parents, and students make this school a wonderful place. I believe that early experiences are vital for the development and growth of a child. Preschool is the foundation of future success in education. I believe it is important to provide children with an environment that is loving and nurturing.  Therefore, I do my best to incorporate my past experiences and knowledge to prepare my students for the future.
